To tell everyone to kiss his ass

Wu, the big lake is way down so I haven't been able to get out and check out all those spots we talked about in Oklahoma. Was able to hunt Lake O this weekend with Muggs. Good Hunting both days until the wind chased us off the lake Sunday. Love a 5 mallard limit.

Better tell him to mark the spot---
looks like he is all ass from that photo

Tell Muggs howdy anyway

Last time I was out in that section Of the Big O and the wind was blowing from the south, the Missouri hands told me that if I was trying to scare them, I had succeeded. It can get hairy pretty quick like

I took them back up the Verdigris to a small creek and we put a spankin on the mallards

Meant to call my brother and ask him about the area you and I talked about as far as water levels

Considering the weather, they ought to have a good number of big ducks in those parts

After you and Muggs wack a limit--- call a couple into gun range, stand up and scare the hell outta them and count coup for me

Hunted the Delta before we down to some skinny water. Waves were starting to kick up so we moved......it seems to never be a hunt on that lake unless you move atleast once. Bout 5000 mallards sitting in a back water area that you couldn't see from the lake. We were motoring along the shore with his mud motor and kicked them up. Made for a quick hunt.

2nd day, the wind was a steady 20mph....and gusting to 25 mph. Probably shouldn't have gone, and it made for an interesting boat ride back. Every damn thing we had was soaked and the bilge ran non stop for 40 minutes as we made our way back. Birds got completely chased off the lake with the wind and where they headed the lake needed to be about 18" higher to get back there. Good number of birds here, but still not great yet. Big Lake is low and some of the areas Muggs and I talked about don't have enough water. He said it hasn't been right for that area in about 5 years with the drought. Lots of old road beds showing all over the big Lake. Not a great time of year to be learning the lake with very few folks on the water and real crappy cell reception in most of those areas. Good chance I'll still be here next year, so maybe I can learn the lake some more come crappie, catfish, and stripper/hybrid season.
